  5. Ok, never made ice cream before, followed this to a T (except that I made it by the freeze and stir method because I didn’t have an ice cream maker) and it came out AMAZING!!! I love this ice cream! It’s creamy, perfect texture, and the flavor is so addicting. My only regret is that I didn’t put the whole batch of syrup in. Thank you for sharing! I’ll remember this for the next time I find a surplus of elderberries.
